Korean Young Leaders Plant the Dream in Mongolia
A group of Young Leaders from the Girl Scouts of Korea held an International Service Project in Mongolia. The project is closely related to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). They built a Ger home for homeless urban youths, donated used Girl Scout uniforms and introduced Girl Scouting programmes. At the end of the project, 5 local Mongolian girls took their promise as Girl Scouts in an Investiture Ceremony.

Challenge! Career Camp held in Korea
The Challenge! Career Camp 2010 was conducted in the International Youth Center, Seoul from 20 to 22 July with the participation of 108 Senior Girl Scouts and Young leaders. This Camp was based on the self-directed career exploration by visiting working field in person.
Girl Scouts of Korea held the 26th Agoonoree National Camp for disabled youth
The 26th Agoonoree (National Camp for the disabled youth) was conducted in Gwangju, Korea from 25 to 28 June under the theme of "Be one and Step forward", with about 1,000 campers including disabled youth, Leaders, Young leaders and Senior Girl Scouts.
2nd Pacific Strategy Meeting held in Cook Islands
The 2nd Pacific Strategy Meeting took place in Rarotonga, Cook Islands from 20 t0 22 May 2010. This meeting was organized as the AP Committee who saw a need to find a new way to work with the Pacific MOs, to ensure future sustainability and provide better support and communication. This meeting brought together 24 national leaders from 5 Pacific Member Organizations (MOs): Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea and Tonga. Representing the AP Committee was June Cameron, Chairman 2007-2009, who chaired the meeting and Ching Ching Wee-Ong, AP Development Executive, who facilitated the discussions.

Girls and women across the world – please dig out all of those unwanted bras to help create the world’s longest bra chain. The Bra Chain, a GirlGuiding New Zealand Guinness world record attempt, is being organised by Dargaville Guide Leader Robyn Martinovich.
