2000
- 30th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Colombo, Sri Lanka 19-22 February.
- The first International Leadership Training for young women was held in Taiwan. It was for young women at national level and emerging levels as well as young women from INGOs
2001
- 31st Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Kuala Lumpur & Penang, Malaysia on 1, 4, 5, 6 February
- 32nd Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Brunei Darussalam on 6th June
- Extraordinary meeting of AP Committee held in Beas Rivers, Hong Kong on 17th – 18th November
- 7th AP Regional Conference held in Brunei Darussalam from 27th May – 2nd June. The theme of the Conference is “AP Action, the way forward”. Meeting of Friends of AP at Regional Conference
- 2nd AP Friendship Caravan to China “On the Silk Road” was held from 25th July – 5th August.
- AP Leaders Qualification Scheme is replaced by the Adult Leadership Award
- AP Young Leaders Scholarship was introduced.
- The WAGGGS Women of Outstanding Achievement Awards were first presented to Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna of Brunei Darussalam and Yang Berbahagia Dato’Haja Hendon Din of Malaysia
2002
- 33rd Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Japan from 4th –6th January
- 2nd International Leadership Training held in Malaysia in September
- A Workshop for Category C & D countries was held in Fiji from 15 - 21November
2003
- 34th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Bangladesh 27 February – 4 March
- A Workshop for Category A & B was held in Korea from 22 - 28 September
2004
- 35th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Korea from 27 January – 1 February
- 8th AP Regional Conference held in Hong Kong from 16th – 21st May. The theme was “Soaring to Excellence”.
- The AP Regional Appreciation Award (triennial) was launched
- Project 3L of Friends of AP WAGGGS was launched
- The Woman of Outstanding Achievement Award was presented to Dr Estefania Lim of Philippines
- The AP Outstanding Young Woman Award was presented to Kathryn Roa of Girl Scouts of the Philippines
