- 19th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Seoul, Korea from 10th– 12th February
- 20th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Negara Brunei Darussalam from 21st – 23rd November
- The AP Environmentalist Badge for rangers / senior girl scouts was launched
- A region event Family Life Education workshop for rangers / senior girl scouts was held at Sangam with the theme “Happy Family – Happy Future” from 7 – 16 December
1991
- 21st Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Islamabad, Pakistan from 22nd –24th November
- A regional event ‘Fun in Training’ for potential trainers was held in Sri Lanka from 7 – 14 September 1991.
- The ‘Encounter’ for support staff of national headquarters in the Asia Pacific Region was held in Hong Kong from 2-9 December. This was the first event for paid staff of national organisations who were doing various technical jobs
1992
- 22nd Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Nuku’Alofa, Tonga from 3rd – 5th December
- 4th Asia Pacific Regional conference for Chief Commissioners / presidents was held in Korea from 19-27 April with the theme “Effective Leadership – a Challenge”
- The AP Young Leaders’ Symposium was held in Japan from 21-24 August. This event was sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Japan
- The first Sub-Regional Workshop on administration for member organisations in the Pacific Islands hosted by the Girl Guides Association of New Zealand was held in the Cook Islands from 18-24 November.
- ldquo;Cultural Exchanges”, a sub-regional event for rangers / senior guides was held from 7-16 December in Tonga. A cadette from Girl Scouts of the USA was invited to serve as a consultant in solar cooking
1993
- 23rd Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Taipei, Republic of China from 1st – 3rd November
- The AP Silver Jubilee Celebration was held at the regional gathering at the 27th World Conference, Denmark.
- A reception was held in Manila, Philippines in conjunction with AP Symposium of NGOs for Women in Development. The aim was to introduce or re-introduce the girl guiding / girl scouting movement and to explore possibilities of starting/restarting girl guiding / girl scouting in the countries. Fifty women leaders from Cambodia, Iran, Russia, Tibet, Uzbekistan and Vietnam attended the event together with members from Australia, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand sharing their girl guiding girl scouting experiences
- Six members of the AP Management Training Team were appointed.
1994
- AP Region Silver Jubilee year
1995
- 24th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Manila, Philippines from 3- 4 & 15-16 March
- 5th AP Regional Conference, Philippines from 6th –13th March. The theme of Conference is “AP Vision – Peace & Harmony”.
- AP Lend-A-Hand was proposed by the cluster of Japan, Singapore and Republic of China.
- AP Silver Jubilee Camp “Making Waves”, Australia 27th December 94’ – 7th January.
- Sub-regional Trainings on Management – SAARC for Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka held in Nepal on 4th – 10th January
- AP Young Adults Gathering, 6th – 13th March
- Sub-regional Training on Management (ASEAN), held in Hong Kong on 18th – 26th July
1996
- 25th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Manila, Philippines from 14th 16th June
- A young member under the age of thirty was appointed to the Asia Pacific Committee
- A Train the Trainer training was held in Fiji for members of the Pacific Islands. All member organisations were represented as well as representatives from the Federation states of Micronesia
- Lend A Hand formally accepted at World Conference
1997
- 26th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in New Dehli, India from 6th – 8th March
- Training for Youth Service Team Leaders, Sangam 8th – 28th March. 21 participants attended
1998
- 27th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Beas River Lodge, Hong Kong from 1st –6th March
- 28th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Brisbane, Australia on 30th July
- 6th AP Regional Conference held in Kindilan, Brisbane Australia from 24th – 28th July
- Administration Training for Pacific Islands 30th July – 2nd August
- A review of the Pacific Programme for Girls was held in Fiji 1st – 5th October with representatives of all Pacific Islands member organisations attending as well as representatives from the Federation states of Micronesia
- A workshop for decision makers in programme for girls and adult training was held in Singapore to align the member organisations programme for girls and training of adults with WAGGGS Policy and Guidelines.
- Cultural Exchange Friendship Caravan through People’s Republic of China from 21st October – 6th November
1999
- 29th Asia Pacific Committee meeting held in Christchurch, New Zealand from 5th – 7th February
- The first Progress Report Visit was made to New Zealand
- The Friends of Asia Pacific WAGGGS was formed
- Advanced Trainers Event held in Singapore “One More Step” 31st May – 6th June
